Now more than ever, 21st century dancers need to approach their careers with in-depth knowledge of current industry needs and demands, a clear sense of personal “branding,” and a strong network of support. In order to thrive, artists need tools and resources to help assuage fears of financial instability and injury, and manage anxieties that arise due to the unpredictable nature of life as an artist. Axis Connect stands alone in our philosophy of educating young professionals to push the boundaries of career possibilities, addressing the practical aspects of pursuing a career while providing valuable strategies for lifetime success and fulfillment. We achieve this by exposing dancers directly to industry leaders, nurturing individual strengths, and offering psychological, financial, and physical tools to help dancers thrive in life and work.
